Fortnite is an online game with survival, battle royale, and sandbox modes released in 2017 by Epic Games. Download Fortnite to at least try out its Battle Royale version and 350 million gamers across the world.
Three Modes Same Gameplay
Fortnite Save the World needs you to fight zombies, which appeared after a massive storm that killed almost all the people on Earth. Players can join in teams to survive: kill enemies, construct buildings and objects, and accumulate supplies.
The most popular of the three, Fortnite Battle Royale, takes you to an island together with 100 players, where you have to survive alone or with friends (pre-set solo, duos, or squad options). You or your team win the battle if you happen to stay alive when others do not.
In the Fortnite Creative, you gain access to four islands, ‘furnish’ them with various objects and share with other players and use them according to the agreed rules.
Updated Graphics, New Map, a Lot of Water
Since its launch, by 2020, Fortnite has improved its graphics, has updated the weapon models and objects, has added animation to applying medical kits and using shields, and has made other minor but nice quality of life changes. The new map will attract brand new players as well as the ones who have already explored Fortnite. Fortnite Chapter 2 characters can swim, which is much quicker than going overland. Also, they can use boats, which will impact the gameplay since there are a lot of rivers and pieces of water on the new map.
Not a Pay-to-Win Game
Fortnite has a free to play scheme, but upgrades can still be purchased for Battle Passes. However, you can not benefit just because you pay as you can buy skins, emoticons, and similar items through the in-app shop for V-Bucks currency.
Also, in our Fortnite review, we cannot avoid telling you about the game’s black hole event. One day the map of the Battle Royale disappeared, and so did all the content in the official social media as if there has never been any Fortnite! But a bit later, to the joy of its fans, Epic Games stated that it was all a prank.
- Is frequently updated;
- Is truly a free-to-play game;
- A great alternative to PUBG.
